A mobile fries stand that ran on Facebook and phone calls, needing a site where customers could see a tailored price for their event instantly.
SnackShack has been a vintage fries stand from Limburg since 2014, run by Sarina and Pascal, cooking on-site at parties and events. Before, everything ran through Facebook and the phone: anyone wanting a price for a neighbourhood party or a wedding reception had to call or message and wait for a reply.
The site is built on Laravel with Livewire, as a full project within Saber Studio. Its centrepiece isn't a product catalogue but a calculator: pick a package, adjust the number of adults and children, and the total price, fixed cost and cooking time appear instantly.
SnackShack works with a set of fixed packages, from a simple bag of fries with one snack to an all-you-can-eat spread of fries, snacks and homemade stew. Each package has its own price per person, a minimum price, and cooking-time rules that scale with the number of guests.
For companies, schools or parties that don't fit a standard package, a quote form is ready to go. That keeps the site useful both for the simple request and for custom work, without needing a phone call for every question.
A customer picks a package, adjusts the number of adults and children, and immediately sees the total price, the fixed cost and the cooking time, without ever having to call or email for a first estimate.
The price calculator works out the total live, including fixed cost and minimum price, for every package.
Cooking time is calculated automatically based on headcount, so expectations are clear beforehand.
Anyone wanting more than the standard packages requests a tailored proposal straight through the quote form, for example for companies or schools.
